I can’t seem to get it together to post Mexico pics. so in the interim I’ve had a bunch of questions from comments and e-mails on the post called “walls” last week.

So this is FYI for those who have asked…the map is a National Geographic map. I got it here at a map store, but I saw one when I was up in Utah at a teaching supply store, and I’ve also seen them on the internet. Just google National Geographic maps. It may look kinda cheesy on-line or even in the store but when you get a nice frame around it I think it looks great. Mine is laminated so the kids can touch it and put stickers on the places they’ve been.

The family tree is a little kit my friend got for me at Deseret Book. It just comes on cardstock but I found a frame that was a little big for it so it would fit well on my wall.

On the temple picture, yes, I did take that. It was one of three I took on different occasions that I was trying to decide between. If anyone is interested I can order one for them as well.

Here is the pricing info. revised as of October 2013:

These are the prices:

16×30 — $230
20×30 — $245
24×36 — $280 (this is the size I have)

These prices include shipping.

I love these canvases because they are quite deep and I love the chunky feel.

In answer to lots of questions about it, I do not sell the digital negatives of these prints.

They are a little pricey, but these look so beautiful on canvas…I love having this in my home.  E-mail me at sepphotography at gmail dot com if you are interested.

  1. So gorgeous, Shawni! You are every bit as good as the guys selling these for BIG bucks at Des book! I got a Robert Boyd print, back when he was Bob Boyd, aka Bobby Boyd who i went to HS with I think… anyway it is of the front of the SL Temple with the reflecting pond on a rainy day. It’s nice, but I would prefer yours. I don’t know how Tony would feel about me having pictures of the temple all over our house 🙂 lol

  2. I also loved your wall post. In fact, it was the push I needed to get my own walls to reflect who we are as a family. I am ashamed to say we have no gospel oriented pictures on our walls. I have meant to do some for 9 years now and somehow I could never find one that was just right, etc… After that post I decided on what wall will have which picture. And one will be a temple, one our family tree (I had one sitting in a box behind my bed frame for 4 years!!!) and an “I am a child of God” awesome poster for the playroom. THANK YOU!

  3. Gorgeous Shots Shawni…ALso wanted to tell you that I am so glad we got pictures from you this past year. I know how hard it is to keep up on editing etc and I don’t know how you’ve done everything so far with such grace…..So, just know that photography is one of your MANY talents but being the mom you are is the most inspiring to me. I always think of the talk from conference “enjoy the journey..” it is so true. These kids grow up too fast. You’d probably laugh if you came to our house as we have our “awards” hanging on our doors. We have gotten so many great family ideas from you…..thank You!
    Keep on keepin’ on Shawni…..

  4. I am a total stalker, and have been for a while — I really love these pictures — it has been so hard to find a SLC Temple picture I really love. HOW pricey are we talking? I love the abstract blossom one. If you ever get the chance, my email is nellie_bingham@hotmail.com, but if not, I totally understand.

Also, I should say that I do feel like only a sort-of stalker since we have some of the same friends, and you went to HS with Chris, my hubby, and we dated, like, 2 of the same guys, neither of which we married. Don’t know if you remember, but I think it is pretty funny, really. Anyway, I’m offically outed as a stalker and your blog is one of my favs!

  5. Love the photos, I would also appreciate any info about how to order a higher resolution version to print an 8×10 for my living room, or order a print. Thanks!

  6. I've been looking and looking for a temple picture that I really love. I absolutely LOVE, well all of them, but especially the last one. Could you let me know what I'd need to do to order a canvas print? Thank you (and thank you for your blog, I'm inspired every time I read it!)

  8. Hello! I have been reading your blog for awhile now and I always feel so much better after reading it. Whether its because I need some direction with parenting or preparing my next Young Women lesson. I always am so inspired and uplifted after pouring over all your posts. I am trying to recreate so many ideas you do with your family. I would love the third temple picture and the tree nature canvas's you have on your walls. I live in Cache Valley and was wondering if you have ever taken a picture of the Logan Temple? If you have time to respond I would be so thankful. Annie anniemiller04@gmail.com

  9. I have a feeling I've already contacted you about these photos in the past…if I have, I'm sorry!

I'm interested in the last picture – would love to order a print (whether I'd recieve the actual print or over email) or if the canvas is the only way to order, please let me know the pricing for that as well. Thank you so much!

  10. My hubs and I really like the last temple picture. Do you email the full resolution pictures? I have a coupon for a canvas print that I would like to print the temple on. If you could email me back that would be great.

  12. I just came across your blog recently. I'm revamping how we do things around here and love your parents' book, the Entitlement Trap! I've been wanting a SLC temple pic and haven't found one I just love until I saw yours hanging on your wall! Beautiful! Could you send me the specs on pricing? Thanks! christinacall.pll@gmail.com
