Just FYI that I’m leaving tonight for Utah once again for some more PR stuff.

Tune into Studio 5 at 11:00 tomorrow morning (Thursday, April 30th) for a little segment I’m doing on capturing kids in photography. Hopefully I’ll be a little less flustered this time since I’m used to talking about photography. Still, I could use good vibes coming my way…I won’t have my Mom as my crutch to pipe up if I get stage fright.

Then I’ll be signing books at the BYU Bookstore at Women’s Conference from 1:30-3:30 (tomorrow as well). My sister’s coming with me this time since she’s starting a website where mothers can share their own “secrets.” (More info. on that soon.)

Then it’s off to more Women’s Conference with some of my best friends ever…my sisters. This couldn’t have come at a better time since I was walking the isles of Target yesterday crying. I’m losing it. I’m sure everything will be brighter after a little get-away…and some sleep.

Then I promise we’ll be done with blabbing on about book stuff and back to regular programming…I have a bazillion thoughts running through my head I wish I could write down right now…and tons of pictures to post.

  1. You and me, babe! I had a good long cry in my pillow over sidewalks. I will tell you about it sometime. On a sidenote, getting away will do wonders for you. I told Adam a few months ago that if I could go on a trip and pick anyone to come with me, I would probably pick Shawni. You might find that funny, but I would love it. I would talk your ear off and pick our brain and come out the winner. Have a great trip. Wish you could sign my book!

  2. Have a great time in Utah. Love the foundation. All you can do is take it one day at a time. Your time at BYU will be amazing and you will get renewed and refreshed.

Missed you last night. You are one busy lady.

  3. I hope you have the best time recharging and reconnecting with your sisters. Sorry about the crying in Target… done that a few times myself in various stores and I sure wish it was acceptable to wear my sunglasses to hide from the other shoppers. 🙂 Good luck with everything and have a great time!

  4. Enjoy your time in UT and your life of fame. I think a good friend of mine is doing this website thing with your sister. April Perry? Does that name ring a bell? Are we on the same page?

  5. I watched you…..made my kids go in the other room so that I wouldn’t have any interruptions. You looked great! And thank you for the tips. I will use them!
