Check out that good dad.

Thinking about Father’s Day coming up and how lucky we are to have him…

(Part one to the family dinner clean-up is back here.)

I’m guest-posting today over here.  A word of warning: Naomi and her cute family including new breathtaking baby (plus her awesome style) will suck you right in for a while…and may cause some IWAN too 🙂

  4. Like many others, I came across your blog from your guest post today. I wanted to thank you for sharing such a beautiful quote–it came at a perfect time for me, as I was frustrated with my "interruptions" last night, but then stopped and soaked in all the fun that the interruptions can lead to. The dishes can wait 🙂

And you have a beautiful family!

  10. Shawni. Parenting question here.

What kind of rules and guidelines do you have for technology around your house. (cell phones, i-pads, computers, tv, the whole she-bang)I am trying to figure out how to balance this with my own family. Part of me wants to just shun it all because I am so worried about my kids turning into huge couch potatoes or those types of teenagers that ignore everyone around them because they are texting or surfing all day. (i really hate that) Do your older kids have cell phones? Do you have rigid time limits? Do you ever have to take technology away? What about you and Dave? I want to be a good example to my kids too, but sometimes find myself constantly checking the news or craigslist or pinterest. Any good ideas?
