This morning Iām so happy to have those wise words of conference echoing through my head. I love that when I listen to conference with questions in my heart, certain messages speak to me and give me my own inspiration as to how to cope with the different things Iām worrying about. I loved Elder Scottās talk about parenting. I loved Elder Cookās talk about peace (at least thatās the part that spoke to me since my 2013 word is āpeaceā). I loved what Sister Wixom said about how we speak to children, and how Elder Perry reminded me we can never underestimate the power of the adversary. (You can listen to any of those by clicking on the ālistenā button by their name hereā¦I think Iāll re-listen to a few of today while Iām folding laundry, cause I always need a little inspiration while Iām doing laundry.) I loved hanging out with my family and letting all those words of wisdom wash over us together. ā¦and making our traditional conference cinnamon rolls. ā¦and having some neighbors over for a pot-luck in between conference sessions. One of my favorite highlights of the day was getting Max home. He had a volleyball tournament in Hawaii of all places last week (I know, lucky boyā¦more on that later), and was supposed to get in on the red-eye at 7:00 a.m. but didnāt get in until 1:30. We were so excited to have him back (we missed him so much!) and soak in the last part of conference together. My heart is just so full of gratitude for family. For my church. For leaders with such inspired wisdom. And for sites like lds.org where I can hear it all again when I need it. Hereās Elle rendition of conference on vimeo: http://vimeo.com/63536906 Speaking of inspiration, I am in love with this Mormon messages clip (here) and have been meaning to share it for a while. Be prepared to get a little emotional.

Elle would be a fantastic Photographer and Videographer!! I would totally book her for my children's wedding once I do have kids. Other than that, she could even put together mine and my husband wedding videos/photos. š
Elle's video was great! What a fun way to remember events. You guys are wonderful!
I'm loving all of Elle's videos, it's so fun to see everything in action. She should do a guest post and teach us all her ways!
Just wanted to let you know that you mentioned A Tree Grows in Brooklyn a little while ago – I'd never heard of it (being 28 might be why). Well I finished it recently and I just adored it! Thanks for exposing me to it.
Thank you SO much for publishing the MormonAd. I needed it so badly today. It was truly inspired. You are such an inspiration to me š I read your blog, and see the type of mother, woman, and wife I want to be someday. Thanks for all you do. God bless!
Would you mind sharing the recepy for the cinamon rolls? It's probably a very common one, but they're not so common over here. I tried them once (from a recepy I found somewhere online) but the dough rose to much and they weren't as great as they should.

I've been reading your blog for awhile now–I adore it. I love what I learn from you about becoming a better mother each day and I love how you keep it real. I grew up in AZ, but live in WA now. And how fun is this–Angela is my cousin, so it was so fun to see pictures of her and her family at your house. Small world! Thanks for blogging and sharing pieces of your life!
