Good thing she love to read. I missed the picture of her sprawled out on the bleachers on her belly reading earlier.
(Dave and I had to tag team this night because of some conflicts and Claire had soccer.)
After every touchdown the cheerleaders do as many pushups as the score dictates.
Is that a thing? Not sure if that’s unique to our school…
The first couple games were hot as blazes even when the sun was tucked safely away, but as the weather cools down this is a pretty great way to spend an evening.
Takes me back to my glory days! Yes, doing pushups is common…at least it was for us here in South Jordan, UT!

I cheered in Ohio and Maryland and we did not do push-ups.�� I think doing push-ups after the team scores is awesome. Plus it proves what we already know to be true; cheerleaders are athletes too.������

The Freshmen st the Service Academies all come onto the field to do push-ups after a score at football games, except at Army/Navy or other games played at stadiums with no access to the fields for the fans.
I just went to Ashton's last game and the cheerleaders also did pushups. Luckily their team only made to to 7. Ashton was great though! Love that dazzling smile of Grace's! She is awesome!
