I wrote a few thoughts on beautiful music and how it speaks to me a while back.  (Part 1 is back HERE.)
And last weekend this amazing Cinematic Pop did it again.

We love them so much so our whole family went.

This is one of Elle’s best friends, McKenna.

She is amazing in every way.  I think my favorite is “Hallelujah.”  Her voice is just so incredibly beautiful.

And paired with these other soloists, they all make a pretty amazing show.

Lucy adores McKenna and also loves the other soloist Cosette.

I wish I had a video of the way Lu’s eyes lit up when the music started playing for her favorite song “Friday I’m in Love.”  She was so excited.

She also performed “Take On Me” which requires a musical range that is really quite unreal.  I wish I had thought to start recording earlier but here’s a snippet:

Spencer always does a great job too.

These guys are just so incredibly talented.

Along with the orchestra that just moves me like nothing else.  And the chorus…Oh boy.  All paired up together it’s just such an incredible idea.

After the standing ovation they came back out and sang “Fix You,” and at that point I just could hardly hold it together any more.  I wish I had more of this one too, but honestly, I dare you to listen to this and not cry….if you can get past my awful videography skills.

“Fix Me” has a really prominent spot in my heart because of an experience I had with Max…which I wrote about back HERE.  So I sat there in that audience with such huge wells of tears blurring my eyes out with so much love for music and for that boy of mine.

We loved going and giving the singers hugs when it was all over.

Loved that Lucy’s teacher happened to be there too 🙂

Thank you, Cinematic Pop, for giving us music that touched us in so many wonderful ways.

Much more about them and other videos over HERE.
