There’s nothing like having a little business to pull you to where your daughter lives.
Especially when she lives in a place like this:

These kids came to visit us on the other side of the island where we were staying:
(That was after Sav got a sea urchin stuck in her foot…part of the hazards of living in Hawaii….she doesn’t look too sad about it;)
It was my birthday while we were there and Elle took us on a good birthday hike.
One where I fell hard on those rocks at one point. Good way to make you feel your age. Ha!

gahhhhh those pics are killer! we just went to Laie on vacation 3 weeks ago (first time to Hawaii) and I'm dying to go back.
Just wondering is your daughter dating that cute boy next to her in all the pictures? If so, that was one more good reason to visit Hawaii. 🙂
