I am trying to get my act together around here because i have so much to say, but for today, let’s talk about this little very nifty kitchen gadget I inherited from a friend:

You guys! It is a miracle worker! And a game-changer.
I have only used it for Nichol’s pasta so far, but let me tell you: pure magic.
I went from having to scoop the whole Nichol’s pasta concoction recipe in a blender, and perhaps sometimes making a mess like this:

..to just sticking that thing right in the pan and letting it do the work.
Then Voila, dinner is done.
And I LOVE when things like that make life so much easier.
I always have to take a picture when I mix the cream in…I know I’m weird but I think it’s so beautiful!

This blender especially helpful since this is a recipe I make huge amounts of and then put some it in the freezer in little disposable Tupperware to take (with all the fixings) to people are in need of a good dinner in our neighborhood. (It freezes well.)

Anyway, just wanted to share. I found a similar one on Amazon if you’d like to check it out over HERE…or just google “Cuisinart Smart Stick.”
I love it.
And I have to share things I love over here on the blog! 😉
(Also, maybe the whole world already has one of these and has been keeping it a secret for me, what do you think?)
Happy Friday!
XOXO

There’s a French youtuber called Chef Michel (his recipes are very good!) who calls this appliance “La Machine Miracle”. I 100 per cent agree: it’s SO much easier to use it directly in the pain; minimal mess.
Have a good day, Shawni!
This is mine :

I couldn’t live without it ! I use mixeur plongeant (that’s the french name) since the sixties ! (I’m 74 yo), I even whip mayonnaise with it, so easy !
In Portugal we call that “the magic wand” or varinha mágica. It’s found in every household here and used daily for soups and sauces. I wonder what other appliances you might be missing out on….
Happy blending!
I got one of these (I’d call it an immersion blender) about 5 years ago and also found it game changing! I use it for soups but also for smoothing a boiling pot of fruit for jam.
I’ve had an immersion blender for years. I use it for quick smoothies, blended soups, homemade hummus, lots of things!
Was a game changer for making baby food too!
