A year ago from yesterday, it was Friday the 13th. Dave and I were skiing in the mountains and we got a phone call that we had been waiting for.
Our second grandbaby, Ada June, had arrived safely into the world.
And do you know those moments that are crystalized in your mind? That’s one for me.
Oh how we elbowed our way to get to that hospital to meet that baby that evening. There is nothing like a brand new baby straight from Heaven.
Max and Abby had given Murphy the most precious gift in the world: a baby sister.

Another moment crystalized in my heart: Murphy meeting that baby sister of hers. Yet again while we were on the slopes that next day.

It was the SWEETEST moment.
Of course, Ada got a sister too…who for the first little while she may have been more scared of than excited about…Ha!

I adore this photo of Max trying to juggle them both.

For the last year this little gal has sure brought a magnificent amount of LIGHT into that little family as well as to ours.

We got to talk to her on the big day:

HAPPY [late] BIRTHDAY sweet Ada.
You are pure sunshine in our family, and we love watching you grow.
