Yeah, we love ‘em. They give us our baby fix for a little tiny while 🙂

I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE when you post about Bear Lake!! I've been trying to be patient, but I love reading about your family reunion and looking at all your breath taking photographs!
Btw, I knew that Max & Elle were tall, but man they tower over Lucy! Do they come down to her level to talk to her, cause I imagine that it would take its toll on her neck (probably theirs too), after a while.

That looks like so much fun, Lake Powell is my happy place and these pictures remind me of all the good memories I have there. Thanks for sharing.
We had our reunion at Bear Lake this summer! And yes, it is beautiful. But WHERE is all this gorgeous sand? I just remember painful rocks & slimy lake weed. (Idyll Beach) I think after reading your blog for a few years I had too high of hopes for this paradise. 😉
Rachel, you have to come to the other side of the lake for the sand. The west side of the lake is much more lush but doesn't have the sand like we do on the more desert side.
In your free time…!…..can you tell me what kind of treat that was at Bear Lake made out of the gummies?
Thanks!
I go to Bear Lake every summer and it is definitely my happy place too!

My grandparents just bought a cabin there and after years of wanting to follow your summer tradition by spending the summer at the Lake, we get to join in too! I love it, and North Beach is our favorite beach. Lots of sand and it is so shallow you can walk out forever and just be up to your waist. That is a huge plus with little ones. Plus it is warmer. I finally convinced my Arizona husband it is not "Brrrr" Lake!
Looks like you all had a great time at Bear Lake:)
A couple of questions for your Q & A: I've noticed that you do quite a few things with our families/friends. I know that's nice but don't you just want to do more things with just your family sometimes? (I couldn't stand to go on holiday with another family. I'd feel like they'd be invading my space – I'm a very private person!)
Are all your family good at mixing in a group? I've never been very good at things like that, which is why I'd never go on holiday with another family.
How many bedrooms & bathrooms are there at Bear Lake & does each family have their own rooms etc?
This looks amazing, and really makes me wish for a big family! Maybe one day… 🙂
Bear Lake is among my favourite of your traditions! And your photos… oh my goodness. I seriously don't care if you took too many photos… they are SO entertaining to look at. Your ability to capture moments just blows me away. I don't know how you ever compile a family album. Seriously, I just couldn't cull the photos enough to get them in an album!
I love the photo of your mom and the cute baby BOTH laughing! Love it!!!
These are so incredibly sweet and adorable. I love them! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful family with us and keeping it real. I can't thank you enough for being such a good example of a LDS mom. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog! I am learning photography from my aunt and your pictures inspire me so much! Thank you for sharing your talent!
If my family randomly shows up at next year's reunion would we really stand out? lol
Gosh I love a baby. Sweet babies, you had me at your toothless smiles!
