Ok, one more thing I’m SO thankful for today:
We had our first “board meeting” for Young Women this morning and must say how incredibly THANKFUL I am that I get to work with all these amazing women as my partners. First of all, I’ve been on the phone or texting the counselors and secretary pretty much non-stop since last Sunday and they are still friends with me ;). (I think…at least they’re not scowling at me for bugging them so much.) We went and took cupcakes and these notes to all of the Young Women yesterday:
And then on to the advisers…man alive, incredible ladies. I’m so grateful I get to work with them. We are going to have FUN with these girls.
so Haley Mcglothin is in your ward correct? I love that girl! you are going to make an INCREDIBLE young women president!

Good luck with your new calling! I haven't had a chance to work with the YW, EVER, and I have to admit that I'm always a little disappointed when I get a new calling and it is not with the YW. Or Sunbeams.

What a great idea, I might have to steal that one. I know you are probably getting alot of advice about your new calling, so here is some more. Our 2nd counselor set up a blogspot for our yw, check it out, we have pictures and all the activities etc. Great for the end of the year when we want to re-cap what we've done!! colville1stwardyw.blogspot.com
