There will come a time in my life when baking home-made bread will be such a regular occurrence in our home that it will not warrant taking incessant pictures of the finished product.
Until then, please endure:I get excited about this stuff.
She really did help. It was a bonding moment.
Now if I could just figure out how to keep this smell lingering…
What great pics! 🙂
The smell of homemade bread is intoxicating. You've inspired me to get into baking bread again. (It's been a few months 🙁 I miss the smell.)
Mmm, lovely homemade bread!
My gram gifted me her Bosch (bread, etc) mixer before she passed away. Can't wait to use it!!
I love the smell of home baked bread, and your loaves are so perfectly shaped. 🙂
Looks wonderful! I think I should make some today (for the first time in literally years). My family thanks you 🙂
You just threw me back in time.. I know exactly which smell you are talking about. I remember the thick slices and that warm, safe feeling. Amazing that a picture of a loaf of bread could do that. My mom used to make bread. It was the best thing to come home to…Thanks for the trip back in time!
Hi, I just found your blog and I love it! I had to comment on this because it looks delicious! I make our bread and I have the Bosch mixer and just love it!! It's awesome, especially for that sticky wheat bread isn't it? The pictures are just wonderful! 🙂
She is such a cutie Shawni and I'm super impressed by your homemde bread. Feel good- I have yet to even try it 🙂 But I'm getting closer- I can feel it!

I have that same mixer and love it! Don't you feel so good when you make bread? 🙂
