Here’s a selection of pictures from the grand 2007 reunion.
Boy howdy we had fun.

JUMPING

Aunt Char is a world-famous jumper.
She tried to teach us all how to do it…
looks like the cousins need a little practice…
and I couldn’t leave this one out…

Bloomington Lake

So there’s this little, gorgeous lake up in the mountains by Bear Lake. I vaguely remember going here when I was really young, and my brothers make a point of going every year, and make a point of bragging about jumping off the rope swing into the icy water that fills the lake from a nearby glacier. How did they not drag us all up there so we could all soak in that beauty? It’s a long, windy, tiny road up into the mountains and it’s drenched in wild flowers and pure green. We had SO much fun up there, especially since the three oldest kids and I got up the guts to do the rope swing (Dave had already gone home by then). My brother Eli led the way, and then little cousin Ashton. It sure took some serious coaxing to get my kids to do it, but man oh man did they love it after they did it. Even Aunt Kristi decided she needed to do it in her clothes (she hadn’t worn her swim suit after all the talk of ice water and looking at the black clouds blanketing the sky…it rained while we were up there). That was a fun day.

Hazel & Claire…best friends this day…

the rope swing…
Elle on the rope swing…
Grace on the rope swing…can you see her?? she’s a tiny spec in the middleAshton…brave Kristi whose lips stayed purple the rest of the day…Eli…

Horseback Riding…

Grandfather knows how to show these guys a good time on the horses.

@ the Beach…one of the most gorgeous spots ever

I love when Grace holds chubby Lucy up on her hip.
Isaac’s eyelashes…
I think we need to look into orthodontists…

some random super hot guy on the beach…cute Charlie…

and McKay…
sunset is the best time to be there…
the boat-launching tractor that the grandkids adore…and fight over…check out those colors! I can’t stand how pretty it is…
Dave thinks I edited to get these colors but that’s exactly how it looks.
I’m telling you, there are different colors every day and it is so gorgeous.

family pictures…

the boys…the girls…
our family…
amazing Grammie & Grandfather…

WATERSKIING!!

Max with super Aunt Charity…
Eli’s b-day helmet ski where he and Noah dropped and exchanged ropes,
tried to go on two skis between them, backflips, etc (just kidding on the back flips,
but that would be a good idea for next year)…three at once…we used to do four when we were little, but only three ropes
this year and Max was pretty excited to get to be out there…
this is as far as Gracie got this year. She was quite pleased with herself.
Elle did about the same thing and wasn’t too interested in trying again…but Max on the other hand went nuts trying everything including knee boarding, wake boarding, slaloming, doubling, tripling, every time he could get out there on the boat he was there. check out the tongue. I think it gives him extra power…
and one of the brother pros…and Big Mable riding…
