Remember when it was the first ever Global Awareness day for BBS?

(Yeah, if you don’t, I wrote about it back HERE.)

Well, we have our own little local BBS awareness here in the desert each year when we hold the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving.

One hundred percent of the proceeds go to two charities, and one is Families Fighting Blindness.

Last year, our tenth anniversary, was thwarted by Covid (although we did give people the option to do their own Turkey Trots wherever they may be and thousands joined in…thank you!).

But this year, it’s back ON again, and it made my heart happy a few weeks ago to have all these amazing people gathered together once again to start the planning process:

Registration is OPEN, so if you’re going to be here in the desert for Thanksgiving, come join us!
