He was mostly alone. His mother, a few women and John. Some soldiers. People upset over the others up there with Him it was not a solo execution and an awful way to die. Who thought that up? A well off man offered a tomb. There were guards for the tomb. The full preparations for the body unable to be gathered and done because the sabbath fast approaching and not over until Saturday night. So they would approach first light Sunday. He went to the place of the dead, released those who died up until that point and opened the gates of Heaven so that they might enter. Finally man can be in the presence of God. Then he rose. He made himself known to those he left behind starting from that Sunday morning daybreak. They went out to proclaim and He ascended. It’s a very unique crucifixion scene.
