“lifted rib”

by Shawni

So I finally went to the doctor after a couple weeks of some serious pain behind my shoulder blade. I kept thinking it’d work it’s way out but instead, it kept getting worse, waking me up at night and really bugging me.

Sure enough, the doctor said I had “lifted a rib” meaning my rib had popped out of place. She said it can be caused by moving something heavy, having a horrible cough with pneumonia, or lifting heavy objects.

Hmmmm…I’m thinking I know the culprit:The doctor said I needed to go get a massage to help pop the rib back into place. Doesn’t sound so bad.

But how could you NOT want to hold that sweet little girl all the time!?!!
I swear … she is just the cutest.
You may have to hold her all the time and get weekly massages 🙂 Not too bad!!

Summer had one of those about 6 months and it was no fun.
What a cute cause of such discomfort she is!

Isn’t it about her birthday?? Seems like she was born about the same time as my niece and nephew…

I have a great massage therapist if you need a number. Just let me know!

WOw, something so cute is hard to see as the culprit! Massage though sounds REALLY good and well deserved.
Shawni, my neighbor wanted family pics where we got ours so I went down and shot them tonight. Everything looked great until I realized that my IsO was on 800!!!!!
I want to cry my eyes out! any sugestions? I know you are so busy, I saw your number was still programed on my cell and I almost buzzed you but figured there was nothing I could do at that point. This was my first photoshoot in two and a half years…..I forgot how much it can be stressful if you forget one thing…
Please let me know if there is anything I can do. I have lightroom for a trial right now which I am LOVING!
Great to come and see pictures of your cute fam…

Ouch. Those things hurt. If the massage doesn’t work, go see a chiropractor. Luckily I have one in my home that pops it back in for me. You should feel good almost instantly with a bit of soreness. How can you resist carrying those sweet babies? Lucy is too cute!

Who knew motherhood could be so painful! My arm hurts just carting around my 21 pounder. You are one tough woman. And that Lucy is one cute kid. I hope you really, really, really enjoy that massage!
