Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
We haven’t been together, all of us, since before Claire left on her mission. So Christmas for me happened this week as each one of these people arrived to make us one giant whole once again.
There is nothing like gathering all your loved ones under your wings, even for a little bit, after they have stretched their own wings far and wide. As they grow and become more themselves every year, it’s crazy how your heart can continue to expand. Love those people each more than I can say.
Because we didn’t have everyone together and no family photo before two days ago, Elle whipped up our Christmas card with all the different “pieces” pulled together. Gosh I love her.
