…from our family to yours.
I whipped together a card this year kind of last minute…and then it took longer than I thought, of course. Because it always does.
When we pulled the finished product out of the box from the printer (two days later than promised I might add…) Grace wondered why in the world I picked this frazzled picture from when all of us just finished running our guts out…
…which of course made me wonder too. Ha! But hey, we were together and that’s what counts, right?
Here’s the back:
I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel around here and I think we’re gonna make it to that flight tomorrow!
Felt good to pick up Elle at the airport last night and to sit and talk late into the night and now we just have to pack and weigh bags, and gather last supplies, but I have a good feeling it might get done without a freak-out:) Crossing fingers!
Hope everyone out in blog world has a very merry Christmas…I’m so grateful for all I learn from blog readers! May the spirit of Christmas buoy you up as it finally has to me as we all remember that tiny babe in a manger so long ago.
King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.
Let every heart prepare Him room. Everything is beautiful when I keep that thought running through my Christmas mother’s heart.
Sending love from the desert!
Merry Christmas Shawni! Thanks for being a bright spot in my day throughout the year! You're not alone in this challenging thing called life. I know you know that but sometimes its good to hear it from someone else! Thanks for shining your light!
Ditto what Sharee said! Merry Christmas Shawni!
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Shawni. Love the photos! Safe travels. Can't wait to hear about your experiences.
How do you pronounce Elle’s real name? I’ve tried to sound it out but I can’t figure it out. Just curious..
If they pronounce it like the town and the college its just wells-lee. At least that's how I say it and I'm from Wellesley
Merry Christmas Shawni!!! Thank you for your goodness and light. Safe travels!
Merry Christmas, Shawni and Fam! Thank you for being a bright spot and so faithfully sharing your everyday! xoxo
Did you use Photoshop to make the back of the card, or where did you have them made? Love the idea 😉
I just want to thank you for all you share! I know people's lives aren't all sunshine and rainbows, but I appreciate all you do share. It's a good example of an LDS family w/ teens and also a special needs issue…right up my alley. 🙂
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
