I have a friend I couldn’t turn down when asked to do a photo-shoot for his client.
Why? Well, because he caught me off-guard when he asked if I’d do it, and most importantly I’m in his debt for helping me out with Lucy stuff. (He has a son with the same syndrome and he and his family have shared such a wealth of information with us…we’re SO thankful for them.)
But I’ll admit, I dreaded this shoot. I’m SO out of the loop. I realized how easy this had become to me when I was doing it on a continual basis before I quit. All the butterflies had gone and it had become second nature.
This time the butterflies were back and I thought I would hate it.
But I was wrong.

It was like riding a bike…ordering this nice guy around like I do in photoshoots came right back to me 😉
And I’ll admit one more thing…I ended up liking it after all.

Oh man, photography is fun.

(But I’m still on hiatus…since I’m trying my darndest “focus” on what’s on the “hot plate” right now.)
BTW, speaking of photography, my sister has the Motherhood photography contest online now at powerofmoms.com and it’s fun to see the great Motherhood photos that were sent in. Click here if you’d like to check them out!

great pictures…you still got it in you!
You did a great job with this shoot. I know he must be more then pleased….he SHOULD be!
How fun to actually see this great man after all we've heard about him. There's just something about pictures that words can't say! (That does not mean I think you should go back to "the business". It'll still be there when you're ready!)
