After all that fun back at home with Elle and Carson, we got to go spend some time with these guys in Utah for Murphys first birthday party:

This girl is ONE!!

Abby (and her fabulous sister) did such a great job setting up a pretty beautiful celebration. They got to host at their parent’s beautiful house, and it is MADE for a party, let me tell you!

I mean, let’s look at this cake:

Murphy was a little unsure about that thing. Ha!

Murphy has a million nicknames, but I think the one that sticks the most is Mooch. Love it.

Loved “helping” these girls set up. Cute Abby’s sister borrowed some bounce houses from the lady she nannies for:

Ha!

So grateful we got to be there to help celebrate this girl of ours we adore so much.

And to be with these other good people who adore her too.

Happy birthday Miss Murphy Jane, we love you forever!!

  2. Abby did such a great job!! And I agree, she looks so happy and relaxed! If she’s ever interested in a guest post (or even her own little blog!) on her parenting style I’d love to read it!
    What a privilege it is to be with family so often— I hope your kids know how lucky they are to have their mom around so often! These will be such treasured memories and photos for you all.
