Happy New Year everyone! We got to bring in the new year by heading with Claire to visit her mission. And boy howdy do I ever have so much to say about that, and Christmas and new ideas for the new year. But I’m struggling to get my bearings straight. Anyone else out there in the same boat? We did get our Christmas stuff put away yesterday, finally. But yikes on the other “to-dos” swirling around! Until I can get my act together, for today I wanted to share a pretty awesome offering from my sister who runs a parent coaching collective.
And I don’t know of a better way to start off the new year than to get a little extra boost of help in the parenting department. I mean, by this time after the holidays sometimes it’s a struggle to get back into a routine. There are so many good things my sister teaches that have the power to change family dynamics and really set some groundwork for building relationships and family routines. She knows her stuff!
So here’s the information from Saren herself about her parent coaching collective:
Are you ready to make 2026 your best parenting year ever? I’d love to offer you the ideas and support you need!
I’ve opened up my Coaching Collective to new members at a special price through WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 14th. [this gives an extra day to 71toes blog readers which is so nice!]
Please join me and a small group of other like-minded parents for an incredible 3-month journey that will help you truly THRIVE in your parenting.
Through lively and productive online training and discussion sessions each week, powerful but very do-able weekly action items, and monthly individual coaching regarding your family’s unique needs, you’ll feel empowered and supported as you make incremental but powerful changes.
This course will help you:
- Build meaningful, enduring relationships with each of your children
- Get on the same page and work well together as parents
- Address and resolve tricky issues in a pro-active, relationship-building manner
- Help your children get along better and build meaningful lasting relationships with each other
- Create rules and consequences that really work (for your kids at home) and appropriate boundaries (for kids who’ve left the nest)
- Teach your kids how money works and decide what you’ll pay for and what they’ll be responsible for financially
- Enhance kids’ gratitude and willingness to contribute to family life and family needs while reducing entitlement
- Hold effective family meetings (in person for younger families and online for those with kids outside the home)
- Build or enhance a strong and fun family culture
- Learn and share with other great parents
Registration closes on Tuesday, January 13th [but for 71toes people she’s giving us until Wednesday the 14th!]
*** I’m offering a special discount of $30 off each month’s membership fee so NOW is the time to check out the program and sign up if it sounds like the right thing for you.***

Much love,
Saren Eyre Loosli, Director of Power of Families, MEd Harvard University, Certified Life Coach

But if we have some really great tools in those “correction” and “teaching” sections of the triangle,
that whole listening and learning has so much more power!
Sounds pretty awesome, right?
Because there’s never a bad time to up our parenting game.
Saren also offers individual coaching if you have unique issues you’re trying to work through. She’s been able to help so many families figure out some pretty sticky things (myself included), and she is just so good at it.

Send Saren an email if you have any questions.
I’m sending all the happy parenting vibes for 2026! I have a feeling it’s going to be a pretty great year!

A question was asked in the comments of the last post and I am waiting for your answer.
