Pumpkin carving FHE

by Shawni

Last year:This year: I just love to see the changes. Wait, what am I saying?! These kids need to stop growing.
Lucy enjoyed it all from her high chair perch while cleaning up her tray full of chili…what could be better?
“Lilly the rat” as Dave affectionately calls her (wait, is that affection??) enjoyed the festivities while running around in her ball bumping into our feet every once in a while. I don’t know why this picture is so big, but I guess it’s ok since it’s Lilly’s blog debut.
Ok so not the most creative pumpkins, but I think we had the most fun doing them this time around. Dave and I realized the beauty of small pumpkins (not nearly such a huge load of pumpkin guts) and the kids did a majority of the work themselves. Maybe that part of them growing up is ok.
