Yes, we are still here at the lake.

We have to eek out every second we can up here.

And we love it.

I have some reunion stragglers I never posted.

They just symbolize all the stuff we did because man alive, we packed those few days water tight.(My sister is quite artistic.)

My sister-in-law and I had an adventure with these three on the tube. The waves were SO huge and the girls (except for the one on the left) were screaming for their lives. Lu wouldn’t let me hang on to her OR the handles so I was sure we were going to hit the water and scare the living daylights out of that girl. Instead we just jumped up and down on that bouncy thing and all survived. Aja and I were laughing so uncontrollably when we got done.

We got the kids really into cleaning this year. All 19 grandkids had some good chores to do. We implemented our new “star system” this year (above). The grandkids are divided into “groups” and whoever got the most stars won a serious prize: a sleepover on the tennis court. Group three went hog-wild helping out and were in Heaven on their sleepover.

They are so excited about working now they still get up and empty the dishwasher every morning. Now everyone’s working toward a movie night when we pack up and head out of here.

Lucy has to have her purse with her at all times, even on the beach.

We ate like nobody’s business. I have some good chefs in my family.

These two have been inseparable. I wish we lived closer.

So does Grace.
Lucy has been giving me a run for my money. It’s interesting to watch her in such a different environment. For the most part she’s doing well, but man alive, she can sure wake up on the wrong side of the bed some days.

We played the traditional candy bar game.

Noah and Kristi won the doubles tennis tournament.

More food.

My brother blessed his new baby. His name is Jacobson, named after my mom’s family.
Grandma Great came for the blessing.

Claire has caught on to my I.W.A.N. syndrome.

We sneak off to the beach a lot at sunset to bask in the glory of the sky.

More on that later.

For now, I’m off to visit the horses with Lucy.

  3. "Joshie School" is just when my brother who is a school teacher took different groups of the kids aside and taught them some cool stuff. He is awesome with kids.

And someone asked about the candy bar game…and now I can't see who…but there is a link where it says "candy bar game" in this post.
