WooHoo!

Come join us as we talk about how this new school year began for us, (so weird for me to be down to one!)…

Lucy on the first day of senior year

…how new school years were for us growing up:

…and our thoughts on setting up routines as Fall starts to wrap around us.

It was fun to be recording with my sisters again after our summer break.

You’ll have to tune in to see if I sound way better than my sisters because of my nifty headset. Ha! I kid because we are still working on sound. And getting in a word here and there with all of us talking. Thanks for bearing with us, this is sure fun!

As always, we’d love ideas from our audience of things you’d love to hear. Follow us on Instagram for lots more information and give us some feedback (here or there, we’ll take it all!)

Ok and next thing I wanted to say:

My Sister’s Family Coaching

My sister Saren is starting a family coaching business, for private as well as group family coaching. And let me tell you, she is the perfect person for the job on this! She has run her company “Power of Families” for so many years and has incorporated so many great ideas into helping families. I love to think of the ripple effects of her work.

Anyway, I love that she is launching a new coaching service that is so ideal for families of all kinds. It will help you wrangle in all kinds of things including:

  • Improve relationships with your kids
  • Deal with screen time
  • Talk with kids about sensitive topics
  • Set up rules and consequences that really work
  • Help kids get along better
  • Get kids to help around the house without whining
  • Teach kids how to earn, spend and save money wisely
  • Build meaningful family traditions
  • Create a strong and fun family culture

Yep, all those things sound pretty worthy, right? Anyway, you can find all the info. for her coaching program over on Power of Families both for private family coaching and group family coaching. This coaching is on sale for a limited time so run on over there to check it out!

Happy Happy Weekend!

  1. Congrats on a new season!
that screenshot of you all recording together gave me the idea that you could share the videos of your podcast recordings like other podcasts do. That way we can easily see who is speaking and you all don’t need to preface your comments with your names each time.

    1. I totally agree with this.

I much prefer podcasts on YouTube etc where I can actually see the people talking, rather than just listening to them.

When I listen to a podcast I often lose interest when I can’t see them.

  2. These coaching businesses seem a little scary to me after the Jodi stuff. Quite jealous a kid whining over chores is enough of a problem for someone to pay money for ideas how to get them to stop whining. Why can’t they express themselves and their feelings so long as they comply? They are kids? Adults protest things all the time. And so long as they stay out of traffic and don’t destroy things it’s fine. Is perfection of other people in their family a reflexion on themselves and something people in the mormon belt really have to consider? The other name is too long and I’m old enough to recall three instances where the church used the M word to refer to themselves, so I am going to still use the word. I have had enough of people changing language to identify themselves, particularly when they were the ones giving those names in the first place. This lifestyle is too much pressure.
