So awesome!!! I've loved reading through your blog- literally almost EVERY "concrete mothering" post! You inspire me! Thank you!! Your family is gorgeous and those girls are so cute with their wacky hair! 🙂
Okay Shawni….how in the world did you accomplish this? It's so fun and yes, wacky.
impressive for sure! i've never had enough hair to dream of doing this!!!
Oh, I love it! How did you get their hair to stand up?
totally impressive
Totally awesome!!!!
I desperately have to know how you did this lol…I have 3 school age girls here and I'm certain next time they have have crazy hair day at school, they'll want this… :-)))
My daughter did something similar when she was Cindy Lou Who for a Christmas party. She used a cup and pulled her pony tail over it. The bigger the cup, the bigger the hair. 🙂 Your girls look so cute.
So cool, I love the first photo – they look like they are a hip-hop duo haha! 🙂
Shawnie – funny thing…..tonight I was picking up my granddaughter at the SL airport about 9:30pm. We are walking back through the terminal, and who do I pass heading towards the boarding gates? Your hubby ! I did a double take, and almost said, "hey ! I know you :), you're Dave, Shawnie's husband" of course I didn't, I didn't want to freak him out or anything 🙂 Just wanted to tell you, I love your blog. Keep up the good work !
Those are empty water bottles holding their hair up (Grace has a big one and Claire has a small one). Grace found a tutorial on the internet and was hooked 🙂
…and Gwen, that's pretty funny.
Those two sure are cute!
im so going to try this on my girls
What will really be wacky about this Wednesday is if you turn around and tell us that the reason your moving to a bigger house is because your having a sixth.
I don't know if the blogging world could handle it! (but it sure would be fun!! 😉 )
This is off topic from this post, but I have a question: Where did you find Claire's white baptism dress? I thought it would be easy to find one–but haven't been able to find one. My daughter will be baptized next month and has her heart set on a white dress. Please help.
i remember one year at efy, some girls did their hair like this. everyone asked them how they did it and they always responded – "bottles and bottles of hairspray" which really wowed everyone. they meant there was an actual bottle of hairspray under their hair but people thought they'd actually sprayed enough to make it stand up! love those girls so much.
I would love to know how the girls have got their hair to stand up like that. My girls would love hair like that for 'Crazy Hair Day' at school. They are just gorgeous!
