I’d like to introduce you to my new favorite little human who made her grand arrival this week. Welcome to the world, baby Peanut!:

From the time Max and Abby called from the hospital at 5:45am to tell me they were in labor, my heart was beating right outside of my chest. I’m not super proud of how I elbowed my way out of that airplane to get to that hospital as fast as I possibly could. But I’m here to say it was pure heaven to walk into that room and get that baby in my arms.
There is not much better than watching your son become a dad.
He and Abby are the two most natural and glowing parents ever and little peanut is the most breathtaking baby I’ve seen.
So many more details coming next week. And also on Instagram today. As you can imagine, my phone is spilling out the seams with photos of this little girl after a few sacred days that I got to be with Murphy and her mom and dad. But I couldn’t wait to share.
Welcome to the world, dear baby Murphy! We love you more than words can say!
Congratulations to you all on the safe arrival of little Murphy. We have three grandchildren, all girls. Soak it in because the older we become, the faster the time seems to go. I always say being a grandparent is like love on steroids 💖💖

I forgot to write about this! Murphy is from a character in a favorite movie (“Interstellar”), and Jane is Abby’s middle name as well as her mom’s middle name.
