Yep, that’s officially me. I turned one year older last week. So why do I still feel like I’m one of the Young Women??

It’s no fun to get older, but it helps alleviate the pain when you get to spend the day with your 6 favorite people in the whole wide world (Dave & the kids…plus a few others too), have 4 different b-day lunches, you get lots of nice notes from your family and from cyberspace friends on facebook (even when you’re a horrible facebook person…I signed up right before Christmas and have looked at it maybe a handful of times…sorry fb friends…), get lots of nice phone calls, get sent a gorgeous bouquet of roses from your sweetest friend ever: (thanks so much Mo)
And another beautiful bouquet from your husband (and you get to go get a massage with him too).…and you can’t go wrong when you get a humongous chocolate chip cookie from Paradise Bakery. And I can’t forget the sweetest ever notes from my kids with coupons for back rubs and foot rubs, and a trail of markers leading to presents…

I am so spoiled. Thanks everyone for making it such a great day.

Hope you had a blast. I used to work at PB forever (and forever ago)…and used to decorate those cookies! I loved it…and PB is still my favorite place to go when Im in AZ.
Excited to get the disc 🙂 Thanks so much!! You don’t have to do any sneek preview, Im kinda scared of what James exposed on me 🙂

  4. Nope — you’re not old. You are still a kid to me……….And a beautiful one. And those kids — last time I saw you in Costco you had only two kids. I don’t think an old lady could handle that crew. They are something. Love seeing your pictures. You and cute husband do great work. What a team!

  5. Glad you had a great day! Thanks for letting us celebrate with you! I was impressed with Dave I must say! He remembered all your favorite things. I always remember the “One year old and wiser too ” part of the primary bday song because although we get older I do think we get a little wiser with age with I am grateful for. Happy Birthday!

  6. What’s really not fair it that you could eat that whole Paradise Bakery cookie/cake and no gain a pound! Ah the luxuries of youth!
    Love you birthday girl!
    Mom
