Precious! I could have used a note like that today; espcially, when my preteen is giving me heck right now. How do you handle your teens when they call you things that are not nice. Maybe your children don't cross that line. I have one that thinks he can just say what he wants and it doesn't hurt.
I've always wondered about the formality of the grandchildren calling your dad "Grandfather" as well… considering you and your siblings call him 'Dad". Just wondering,,,
