Grace whipped these puppies up on the last day of school.  They were so easy and I must admit they tasted pretty good too so I figured I’d share how she made them.

All you do is mix these together:

1 pkg. devils food cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 c. oil

Add M&Ms and bake at 350 for 8 minutes.

That’s it.  Voila

VARIATION:
My friend made these as “home-made Oreos” that Grace died over when she shared a few with her.  She doubled the recipe and added this frosting to sandwich two cookies together at a time:

1/2 c. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter (softened)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
4 c. powdered sugar
5 tbs. milk

I think maybe we should do a taste-test between those and these ones back here.

Hmmm…I wonder which would win…

You could also do this same cake recipe with a yellow cake mix and add chocolate chips, or a chocolate one and make it double chocolate chip cookies.

Oh, the possibilities are endless.

And unhealthy.

But sometimes, if you’re like me, you just need a little cookie to get you through the day.

  2. I have 3 young sons whom I love to pieces and a husband that I love even more. Yesterday I was frustrated with my boys (my husband is out of town this week) and some house issues we are having. I was angry, frustrated and disappointed with how dinner went. Anyway I found your website somewhere on pinterest and spent hours reading it last night. I have so many new and encouraging ideas now, which has turned my focus away from my house. I also ordered 4 books last night. Anyway just wanted to thank you for your website and for trying so hard at your marriage and kiddos. They are all so beautiful! Leslie
