Aside from the 4th of July we had a few other days of refreshing weather and great activities up there in Idaho. Now we can understand why Dave’s parents have fallen in love with that place. It is just plain gorgeous.
We went to this place called Mesa Falls that was amazing. (Let’s just imagine on these next few pictures that I didn’t accidentally forget to change the ISO from 1600 after the rodeo the night before.)
The kids helped their Nana put together tons of puzzles and each pair of kids made up quite the dance moves and had the music blasting all the time we were at the house. There’s nothing like cousins. Each kid in our family has a great match-up in Dave’s sister’s family. I love that.
The night before we left we had a hot dog and s’more roast at this local park. We fed the ducks and played a little wiffle ball too…
…followed by our own firework show put on by the dads and all the rest of us crowding around to block the wind as each fuse was lit. I don’t know that anything could have been more exciting for the kids…especially the “cherry bombs.” The bottle rockets were huge hits too. This is the view of the temple from Dave’s parent’s house. Pretty impressive huh?
Thanks SO much for everything, guys. We miss you already!
Love the rodeo pictures. Looks like a lot of fun. That waterfall is amazing. Have a fun vacation!!!
Thanks to you, Shawni, I know what the ISO is 😉 What a fun trip!
OK Shawni . . . I’m freaking out. How tall is Max? It didn’t hit me until I saw him in these pictures. I think he’s taller than me. What a great view of the temple. Enjoy your vacation!
