Elle spoke in church.
She did a great job.
Some cute friends came to listen:
Elle had a pretty special blessing from our Patriarch after church. It was so beautiful. Since my parents were in town they got to come along and it was so great to have them there.
(Gotta love my Dad’s face in that picture.)
My girls:
We had dinner with my parents and my great brother Josh.
(on our new table we still don’t have chairs for…some day…)…complete with our egg place-tags Claire and Lucy came up with and our English “crackers” which you “pop” before you eat.
My brother got an eye patch in his which cracked me up, my dad got a mini harmonica and everyone always gets a crown.
Lucy took wearing that crown of hers very seriously the rest of the evening.
Then it was our traditional cousin gathering we missed out on last year.
(see what I mean about the crown?)
Favorite series of pictures from Easter:
Love that cute little photo-bomber up there 🙂
I love the faces when they’re getting ready to jump:
And I love all that Easter joy.
Hallelujah for the sacredness and joy we got to celebrate that beautiful day.
I LOVE your Hallelujah banner! May I ask where you got it?
I copied my friend who got it from this site: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/85146249183463072/
The coolest things come with it…all kinds of awesome ideas for Easter and Holy Week. I was sad I didn't get it early enough to share with readers in time for Easter prep but I will next year. I'd highly recommend it!
We love the poppers! We always have them on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It's always so funny to see my grumpy (but lovable) uncle and 87 year old grandfather wearing these crowns, but it's a requirement and I love it!
Congrats to Elle for receiving her special blessing. For me, that day is one of the top 5 days of my whole life.
Such fun Easter traditions you have! I also love your banner in your kitchen.
Happy Easter! I love seeing your traditions (so I can get ideas!). I also love every dress on all those cute girls .. Do you mind sharing where you got them? I'm always on the hunt for cute, modest dresses for my 2 girls. Love your blog!
Thank you 🙂 We got the older three girls' dresses at Old Navy, Lucy's at Tea Collection.
Oh my gosh! I love big family Easter hunts. The best!!
Do you know where your niece with the gorgeous white dress (with floral bunches that goes almost to the ground) found it? She looks so lovely! What a sweet day!
I love the pix of Lucy in her paper hat & also the one of your Dad's face:)
