Home lucy and so it begins again…

and so it begins again…

by Shawni

This time her team name is the “Tangerine Foxes,” voted for and decided solely by the girls.

Lucy told me her vote had been for the “Orange Oranges” but she got beat out 🙂

I’m pretty sure we’ll be able to spot those “foxes” from across the whole soccer complex with the color of those jerseys.

Wowzers.

It was 85 degrees for the first game of the season last Saturday.

Wowzers again.

It’s gonna be a great season 🙂

I'm a new reader and really enjoy your blog! My daughter is a soccer player and begins her spring season outdoor practices next week – as of today, it is 26 degrees and we have about a foot of snow on the ground. At this rate, they'll be playing in snowsuits! Good thing we love our soccer!

I can't wait to see the *Orange Oranges* throughout their season! (OK, that's not their name…but I'm with Lucy on that one!) So glad she is playing!

Have those cute girls listened to "The Fox" song by Ylvis? It would be a fun/funny theme song for their soccer season. Check out the music video on youtube. Our 4 year old and 18 month old love this song! 🙂 It's on our Spotify jogging mix, I'm sure people are wondering what on earth we're listening to as we pass them in the park with our jogging stroller. Prepare to hear a lot of "What does the fox say?" sung around your house though.
