Claire finished her soccer season. Love those girls she’s played with for so many seasons now. Max finished his club volleyball season. Dave and I have had so much fun watching him gain so much confidence on the court. Oh man we love this sport. …and love these crazy, good boys too. Birthday lunch with friends: French “International Night.” (We don’t do this every Wednesday like I dreamed it up to be, but we do it whenever we can. Still love it.) .We had baguette Panini sandwiches and sparkling apple juice. The french music we looked up is what really made it though. Some of my favorite girls:(…who really can’t drive but who were posing like they can…) Gingerbread houses at school with Lu. We found the funniest home videos…I’ll have to post them some time. We laughed long and hard about those things and watched them over and over again. The number of books I’m in the middle of reading on my nightstand is getting a little bit out of control. The bike brigade on Fridays and Saturdays: Pajama Day and “Doughnuts with Dads” at school. Claire often leaves me nice notes on my bed. I love them. Especially when they come with money! 🙂 Some service for a friend who’s Dad passed away at Christmas. Our hearts have been aching so much for this family. A sliver of our beautiful world. …and one more (it is Fall here). I’m so grateful for it.

Oh I love how you do international nights. That's something I've always dreamed of doing too. You've inspired me to just get up & do the things You want to do as a mother & not wait for an invitation from your husband or kids. You've helped me realize we need to make things happen! Thankyou!
Good grief I love your posts. Every single one of them.
Just a random note: I noticed the pic of your fam crowded around your hubby watching videos. Have you considered apple tv? We recently purcahsed it for our home and have loved it!!! You can connect wirelessly to your tv from your ipad, iphone. We love streaming videos for the whole family…home videos, mormon messages for FHE, youtube funnies, and i love to catch up on the shows i have missed via online.
